Gamerz June 25th Report

We had a great game Thursday night at Gamerz in Greenwood. Josh and his buddy (Sorry, I am so bad with names) were in attendance, so I decided to subject them to the 'Cleanse & Burn' mission. Here are a few pictures. Unfortunately I had my camera in macro mode for the first 8 shots, so they were unusable. I also need to write down some of the major points of the session, for my memory blows. The top pick is the Terra Knights Squad leader going mono-a-mono (The Stealer won that fight). The bottom is the final turn after one of the rooms had been cleaned, and the final flamer was the last marine! Good show by the Terra Knights! Huzzah!!!

Tonight at Gamerz!!

Tonights the night I start my hopefully running stint of Space Hulk Games at the Gamerz store in Greenwood! I'm stoked! I got everything together last night, and thank goodness my order from Litko came in! WooHoo! Sweet Flamer markers and overwatch markers. They are right here from Indiana, and have great communication with thier customers.
I'm going to run the mission Cleanse and Burn. I'll be using a squad from the 1st founding of the Terra Knights and another from the 2nd. I have a idea of the backstory of the chapter, but need to fleash out a few thing's first. Look for more to come.
I'll also be having a recount of tonights game with pictures! Hopefully those will be up tomorrow.

And even more work...

Well, sorry for the lack of posts, but thing's have relly started to pick up around here. My horde of Genestealers are playable, but still need work. Need to count them up to see how many I actually have (More than 30 for sure). The Terra Knights are table quality, but I know I'll be picking at them for at least a couple more day's. Another standard squad is in the works.
I'll be running a weekly Space Hulk game every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the Gamerz store in Greenwood. I had a few people express intrest on the KFG boards, so hopefully this will work out well, stir up some interest, and maybe turn into a tournament!!
I also submitted 2 events for Inconjunction on Saturday at 12:00 and 8:00 p.m. Hopefully I'll hear back soon from them so I can get started on the plans for that.
So, in short......whew! And I sit here typing when I should be werkin...!

Finally back from out of town...

...but most the time I was hashing out specifics for the sessions. Right now I have 3 Space hulk, 1 Trailer Park Wars, and 1 Killer Bunnies games I'm running this year at Gencon. The rest of the time I'll be helping out running demo's of Redneck Life and Trailer Park Wars for Gut Bustin Games. It's getting close and I'm fired up!

Some pics....

So, now back to buisness....

Sorry for the long delay in posting. I've been super busy painting, designing, imagining, planning and relaxing. My Genestealers are pretty much 95% done, and my termi's are about 75%. I found out my cheap digital camera dosen't take pictures worth a hoot, so I'm borrowing a co-workers and will be taking some shots here during lunch. I'll finally be able to show off my so called work!
I've also submitted another Wednesday Space Hulk game for Gencon. It's still in the submittal stage, so more to come on that. I figured if they don't I'll still run it, there should be enough people wandering around to check it out.
My current plans are a dual level game. It'll be my first try, but if my plans come to fruition it should be very cool. I'm going to forego using shaft rules and make both levels completely seperate from each other, connected by lifts. I'll need to start thinking about AP's to use it, how many it will hold, stealer entry point around the lift (I wan't the players to relly have to struggle to get up, squad being divided up in transit)

My first test of creating my own floor tiles came out pretty good. Only 2 issues I ran into was..
1) Scanner in copy mode reduced the copies size just about 1/32". Ya relly have to look to see the difference.
2) The notches needed to be worked on for a bit before they worked. Wish I had a big O' press to cut them out with.

More to come latter, and pics also!!
